My Name is Dylan, I’m a 21-year-old Audio Engineer and Artist based in Perth, Western Australia. My relationship with sound started long before I ever stepped into a studio, always finding interest in the details within the music, like the way the bass felt in my chest, or the way the reverb on a vocal made the song sound massive, the way a song can tell you a million words before one is even spoken. This curiosity led me to a passion for understanding and controlling sound not only as just a listener but as a creator as well.

I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Audio at SAE Perth. Where I’ve sharpened my skills in mixing, mastering, live sound, marketing and artist rights and registrations. I work confidently across Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Ableton Live making use of industry-standard plug-ins, and techniques, using in-the-box and outboard gear workflows. My experience ranges about 6 years from live sound set up & engineering, recording bands and vocalists then mixing and mastering their projects. Over the years of working in collaborative spaces, I’ve learnt to be focused, flexible, adaptive and good under pressure.

My style is about precision, feel, and intentionality. Whether I’m shaping the sonic identity of a song or dialling in a clean mix. I’m always thinking about how to most effectively serve the emotion behind the music. Thriving in all sorts of locations where sound is involved.

Outside of work, You’ll catch me diving deep into albums, staying up to date with new tools and techniques, taking on new creative endeavours and just constantly trying to learn. Audio isn’t just a job, but a craft that I’m committed to.
